UC3825: Power management forum

Dear TI experts,

There is a question about UC3825. Our customer use it in a Ultrasonic massager. Poor finished product testing. Some products are weak in ultrasound, some products are not ultrasonic and the chip is damaged.

I tested the following PIN15-VCC and PIN14-PWM, which I think is not normal because of ripple and PWM size waves. Does this have an impact on chip work? Can UC3825 work in this situation?

Just tell me if you have any suggestions~ If you can explain it in detail it would be nice. Thank you·

Hi Robin,

Obviously VCC voltage is not a normal waveform, it should be almost a constant value.

May you attache the schematic below or email it to me at teng_feng@ti.com, so that I can support this issue further.
