Hi
I have an AC/DC solution in evaluating TI
The spec information are as follows, can provide suggestions?
I have seen the LM5023.
http://www.ti.com/tool/PMP7883
and also
http://www.ti.com/tool/PMP8655, is this solution to change the transformer? if change the transformer can give me transformer parameter information?
and I also study UCC28600, UCC28710
VIN: 90-300VAC
VOUT: 24V / 2.5A
PF> 0.8
THD <30%~15% (depending on load)
PCB size can't too big
I think you might be better off with a single stage PFC flyback converter.
The following link will you to an 85V to 265V AC in to 24V 1A reference design using the UCC28051. The transformer turns ratio should be correct for your design. However you will have to design a transformer for your application and most likely require 2.5 time the magnetizing inductance and resize the components for the maximum voltage due to having the 300V AC input.
You can also use the TPS92210 for a single stage PFC design and the following link will bring you to application note that will go through step by step on how to do the design. http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva459/slva459.pdf
The TPS92210 even has a design calculator that you can use to help with the design. You can find this tool at the following link.
Regards and Thanks for Choosing TI
