Hi Sir,
Our customer have two panel survey the LED Driver solution,
We are promotion TPS61196, But Panel B If=480mA over spec.
if Panel A use TPS61196, is this solution OK?
Could you please share Panel B TI suggest solution for me?
Hugo

Hi Hugo,
For TPS61196, it can't support 480mA per channel since you have six channels. But you can use two TPS61196 pieces and combine three IFB channels together to support 480mA.

Sean
Hi Hugo,
Please refer to the datasheet for your design and you need to add 10Mohm resistors for each used channel.

Hi Sean,
the Customer panel SPEC as below, the A & K is on panel connector.
we are see the TI demo board ref design, for this application only need one channel to support this panel ? right?
other channel is IFB pin 27k to GND to disable the function right ?
How about the PWM pin setting? short together or floating?

Hi Sir,
For this SPEC, I suggest using two channels together to drive 240mA, each channel support 120mA. And you need to connect the PWM1/2 together to give the same PWM signal.
