We used the scheme based on bq76930+Bq78350 based on the platform voltage of 3.6v battery pack.

Now we hope that you can provide a protection scheme for lithium ion battery based on voltage platform of 2.4v.

Hi Jason,

The BQ77910 is not recommended for new designs. However, for 6S-10S we would recommend stacking a BQ77905 or a BQ77915. The only difference is that the BQ77915 offers cell balancing, and the BQ77905 does not. Here are the links for their datasheets:

Is the 2.4V the under voltage cut off you would like? What is the operation range of your battery?

We are using a battery voltage range of 1.5v to 3.0v and a platform voltage of 2.4v.Are there any other recommendations for this type of lithium-ion battery?

Hi Shawn,

I saw that bq77910A met the conditions we used.But bq77910a is not recommended to be used in the new design, so can you provide a new iteration product?

Hi Jason,

For higher cell count applications, we recommend either the BQ77915 or the BQ77905. The datasheets are linked in my first response to this forum.

We need a solution with communication interface. But Bq77915 and bq77905 have no communication interface.

Please provide other solutions.

Hi Jason,

Our protectors no longer have communication features. If you are looking for communication and protection in one chip, you will need one of our battery monitors. The device most similar to the BQ77910A is the BQ76930, which you were using before. If you have any questions about monitors or choosing a device, please start a new thread with the tag "BQ76930" and one of our monitor experts will gladly help you.

The voltage range of our battery is 1.5v - 3V, bq76930 does not support
