TLV62585: frequency vs I light load formula

Hi Team,

TLV62585 have PSM which can get higher efficiency, may I know the detail formula between the switching frequency vs. I_load when PSM mode? We need to calculate some data, thanks.

Please refer to below graph (ILoad vs. Freq).

If it does not fit you application, you can provide the application condition so we can generate the graph or provide the formula to calculate for it.

Hi Excel,

I'm interesting in when device in light load. how low the frequency is? it's really need formula to calculate at light load mode. as such like less than 20mA.

Hello Wilky,

Characterization data is more align to the actual switching frequency at PSM mode than using a formula to calculate for it.

Anyway, please provide the Vin, Vout and Iout range (0A to 20mA?) so I can check if we have the Iload vs. Fsw data.

Hello Excel,

Vin range 4.75-5.25

1. Vout =3.75V

2. Vout= 3.3V

3. Vout=1.1V
