If a PCB is designed and mounted with the recommended land pattern, a solder bridge will be created.

Do solder bridges affect performance and reliability?

    Thanks for the question.  

    The solder bridge as shown does not present a performance or reliability risk.  However, it indicates a problem with the manufacturing flow that could cause solder bridging at other pins where it would become an issue.  Assuming the land pattern is correct, it is recommended that you review the solder paste dispense to see if the problem might be there.
