LMR23625-Q1: How to do AC sweep and get the bode plot of the circuit with TINA-TI

Part Number: LMR23625-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMR23625

Hi support team:

if i want to do AC simulation for LMR23625 and get bode plot, should i get a special model used for AC?  Do the models below just for transient simulation? In that case, how can i get the model of LMR23625 that can be used for AC simulation?

  • User,

The best way to get a bode plot is to use WEBENCH. You can find WEBENCH on the LMR23625 product page (scroll down, on the right). Enter your specs, Open Design, modify the schematic as needed, then click Simulate (top right) and start a Bode Plot simulation.

You can also export this model to Tina using the Export button (top right on WEBENCH).

  • Hi Sam:

I have tried to use Webench for bode plot simulation, but the freq of  the schematic of LMR23625C  in webench can't be changed. while in my design, we used LMR23625CF, the freq can be changed through outside PWM signal.

If I export the model to TINA from Webench, can the freq be changed ?

  • User,

You can select the LMR23625CF when you create your design by clicking the part number and selecting the ...CF part from the drop-down menu. But both parts will be able to synchronize to a particular frequency.

You can change the frequency by clicking the slider next to "User Sync Frequency" (see below circled in green) then input your frequency. Click "REDESIGN" and the schematic will update with additional circuitry on EN_SYNC to synchronize to your desired frequency.
