LP87561-Q1: Maximum load current outlined in OTP Technical Reference Manual?

Hello Team,

I was wondering what the Maximum Load Current givein the Table 1 of the Technical Reference Manual means?

This is a 16A part but in the table 14A is give as the maximum load current, also when i look at our internal OTP settings there are some OTP version ending in F/T/V that outline max current of 12A.

Hi Julio,

The LP8756x parts allow users to set a current limit for each buck up to 5A, however the maximum steady state load we recommend is 4A. The current limit for different OTPs can be set to lower values, which is where the 12A value is coming from.
