LM22680: Internal connection of SS Pin and work under over load.

Hi team

I have two question about LM22680 and I hoped that you can answer my questions as soon as possible:

1. LM22680 Internal connection detail requirement

  • There are some failure LM22680 in my customer whose SS pin has been and the impedance of the SS is too low.
  • Customers want to know the specific internal connection details of lm22680, which is not given in the chip Datasheet, which is helpful for us to analyze the influencing factors of SS pin in the chip.

2. LM22680 Overload status

  • Customers also want to know the risk of lm22680 when the load current of lm22680 is greater than 2.5A which is overload  but does not reach the chip internal condition of overcurrent protection

    Unfortunately we could not elaborate detail information on the internal connection on a public forum.

    Is there a PQA started for the issue?

    Also, how many parts is damaged and what are the condition before the part is getting damaged?

    Is there a possibility of a short between pin 1 and pin 2 on the board? Since pin 1 is BOOT and pin 2 is SS pin.

    1. Could you please share the detail information to my e-mail? or you can tell me which pin could be the reason of SSpin broken.

    2. 20% of the LM22680 is damaged when Moisture penetration test was done.

    3. I will double check the PIN1 and PIN2. is that possible that the SSPIN will be broken when it is short to the BOOT
