HII I AM USING YOUR TLV62585PDRL FOR GENERTING 1.2V IN MY DESIGN I ATTACHED THE DESIGN JPEG

ACCORDING TO THE DATA SHEET I AM SUPOSE TO GET 1.2V AT THE OUTPUT BUT I AM GETTING 2 VOLTS INSTEAD AND I CHECKED THE VOLTAGE ON THE FEED BACK PIN I AM GETTING 1 V

according to the datasheet i am supose to get 0.6v in order to get 1.2 v at the output

is there any thing i need to change in my design in order to gett 1.2v ,i need 1.2v for my circuit .

Hi Aied,

I don't see any issue with the schematic diagram and Vout should be regulating to 1.2V.

The VFB pin should be 0.6V and not 1.0V. Can you check the body marking? It should be 1BP. If the issue still persist, try to change the device and re-check the VFB voltage.

HII EXCELL THANKS FOR YOU SUPPORT

NO I DIDNT MANAGE TO GET THE 1.2 , I REPLACED THE COMPONENT AND STILL 2.1 AT THE OUTPUT AND 1V AT THE FEEDBACK.

WHAT YOU MEAN BY BP ?

and i should state that i left PG floating does have any influenceon the circuit ?

Hi Aied,

The VFB pin voltage should be 0.6V and NOT 1.0V. And the device body marking should be 1BP.

Can you share the layout?

what do you mead by body marking

where i can see it ?

, i did an experiment , i wired up by wires the tlv62585 on external pcb according to the schimaticts that i sent you and connected an 3.3.v input from a lab power supply

and i didn't connect any load to the component i got 1.7 v at the output and checked the FB pin and measured there an 1 v instead of 0.6 v ?

i attached jpeg that shows the layout , but i wired up the the tlv extrnaliny using wires and its not giving me the voltages the i need , thanks for your help

Hi Aied,

You can check the device body marking on top of the device.

I cannot decipher which is the input, output capacitors and feedback resistor dividers. And how those components are connected to GND. Did you follow the recommended layout shown in the datasheet? Refer to the figure below.

Hi Aied,

It is not recommend to connect the TLV62585 and all passive components together because wire loops create parasitic that influence the proper operation of the device. If you want to characterize the device functionality before making your own PCB, I suggest to order an EVM in TI store.
