i saw these part should be the same, why have different part number?

are they different?

    Hi Chen,

    There is no performance difference between the devices. The LM4040CIM3X-3.0/NOPB is a National Semiconductor designed device that was acquired by Texas Instruments during the National acquisition. The LM4040C30IDBZR is a Texas Instruments designed device that was created before the acquisition.
