TPS2557-Q1: High frequency noise on input pin

Hello,

In case bypass capacitor close to IN pin is open,

will the high frequency noise damage the IC?

if not, what is the effect if High frequency noise is not filtered going to IN pin of the IC?

Without 0.1uF cap to filter high frequency noise, the IC may be damaged.
