TLC59208F: what are the key difference between TLC59108F and TLC59208F

Hello Community,

i would like to be sure of the differences between TLC59108F and TLC59208F.

This E3E topic describes
that the difference between TLC59108 and TLC59108F are just the output structure. (Current-Source / Open-Drain)

that is Open-Drain for both.
HW wise i found

the Functional Block Diagram is also about the same for both:

• TLC59108F Page9 Section 8.2
• TLC59208F Page9 Section 9.2

the only other difference found is with Regular I2C Bus Slave Address:

• TLC59108F Page11 Section 8.5.2
• TLC59208F Page16 Section 9.5.5)

there fore the TLC59208F has much more possible addresses.

are there any other differences i missed?

and are the three parts (TLC59108, TLC59108F, TLC59208F) interchangeable from a I2C view?
(so i can switch the parts later if needed but don't need to change software?)
