Team,
Do we have other options to replace the SC4501 that seems to become EOL?
https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20060124005413/en/Semtech-Family-40V-2A-2MHz-Step-Up-DCDC
The use case is:
Vin:12, Vout: 24V, Iout max : 0.5A
I checked the web cross-ref (see here) and the alternative shown is LM2735 (but the Vin params do not macth as it is 5.5V max).
I looked at LM2733 instead but it does not seem to meet the specs of the use case as Webench is not able to create a design.
I looked at TI.COM parametric search that gives: TPS61170 vs LM2733 vs LM27313 vs LMR64010 vs TPS61175 vs TL5001A-Q1
Who would be the best and cheapest alternative for this use case?
Thanks in advance,
A.
Hi AnBer,
The expert for this part is currently on vacation and will be back next week.
Thanks,
Richard
Hi AnBer,
I would suggest TPS61175 for 24V 0.5A output.
if the output current is 300mA, we can use TPS61170
Hi Jasper,
Do we have something that could be PinToPin compatible?
I can not find the datasheet of the SEMTECH SC4501 so I am not sure the pacakages they do offer.
Is it realistc to look for a pinToPin replacement? Or anyway a re-design is needed?
Thanks,
A.
