The app note #SLVUAF0 from May 2016 says "The output of the LOD detect circuit is loaded into the 48-bit register called SID holder", but that is the extent of the mention of the "SID holder" register. In the diagrams it is mentioned that "SID is loaded into the common shift register" but it's unclear if this "SID" is the "SID holder" register. And it's unclear how I would read the common shift register in any case.
Can you describe in detail the process of retrieving the LOD data? Thanks.
