I cant import a correct library part on Mentor Xpedition with the Ultralibrarian and the bxl file? Could you send me the imported file or a video with an example of importation?
Thank you!
Hi Jessica,
Have you tried importing the step file into Mentor Xpedition to generate the LMZM33602 3D footprint?
You should be able to import the model by going to "3D > Modles > Import " and select the appropriate model for import.
The step file can be found next to the bxl file on the "Design & development" section of the LMZM33602 product folder.
I've also attached it here for convenience. Let me know if you have any issues using this file

Jimmy
Hello,
This doesn`t solve my doubt. I need to import the *.hkp files (that I generated with the ultralibrariant) o my library. It is possible, but when I do it, I receive this error message:
Error: Bad constant value <PADSTACK_LIBRARY>
in keyword <.FILETYPE> at line # 1
Error: Expected <1> arguments
in keyword <.FILETYPE> above line # 1
This file is not a Cell Library Design Data file.
3 errors were encountered. The CellDB file will not be saved.
What can I do?
Hi,
I will contact the internal support team that works with Ultralibrarian to see if there are is any issues with generating the necessary files to be imported into your desired PCB design tool.
I've only extensively worked with Altium designer so I can't comment on what you are seeing until I get more clarification from the support team.

Jimmy
Hi,
I got word back from the support team. Unfortunately both the support team and I do not have access to Mentor Graphics to understand the issue.
I would normally ask for the files and contact them directly, but since I don't have access the software, the troubleshooting effort may take longer to get an answer to your question asap.
Because of this perhaps you can contact the Mentor Graphics Xpedition support team with the exported hpk file to get a better understanding of the error message.
Please keep me informed on this.
Regards,
Jimmy
Hi,
Were you able to get this resolved on your end?
What verison of the Mentor Xpedition tool are you using?
I am still pressing the Ultralibrarian team for more information as well as the internal support team that does these footprint models.
Regards,
Jimmy
