LMZM33602: Using tactile switches to enable LMZM33602

Part Number: LMZM33602
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: NE555

Hello,

I have need to control the on/off of two LMZM33602 converters using a button, but for the first time for me, instead of the usual ON-OFF PushButton, it became necessary to use a tactile switch like TL1105JAF160Q. I've seen several solutions using chip NE555 chip, however I'm not sure if they work as expected. Maybe TI has a ready-made chip or at least a manual for solving this problem? The voltage at Vin is 6.5-7.5 V and comes from chip BQ25883RGER. Thanks for any help.

  • Hi Alexey,

Have you had a chance to look at this app note?

This app note could help provide references and guidance in designing a push-button circuit to turn on with a short button press and turn off when the button is held down as described in the report.

    Regards,

    Jimmy
