TPS62061: Pull Up resistor Value for the EN pin

Hello,

This is Bharti Verma.

We are using switching regulator IC TPS62061 (DSG Package 8-Pin WSON With PowerPAD) .And we want to know the value of Pull down resistor used for EN PIN( pin 5).

Hi Bharti,

Considering Vin- 2.7V (minimum Vin) and Maximum input bias current, a pull-up resistor of 100k or less should be okay. But please use this value only as a reference and may change according to the application requirements. Please ensure to test well the complete application.

Hello,

Do you mean pull up or pull down resistor ?

And in our application we have to keep the circuit most often in shutdown mode.So please suggest accordingly.

Hi Bharti,

You can use the same resistor as pull-up or pull-down.

I think you have missed the voltage divider and filter capacitor in the schematic. Please follow the recommended design in the datasheet.
