TLV62569: Input EMI filter

Thanks for reaching out. The EMI filter requirement differs from case to case. Generally you will have to define for your application if you need it or not, this will be based on how critical the EMI is for your end product/solution, and how big is the impact of EMI from the buck circuit compared to the entire system.

For my end product I want to use an input EMI filter with the TLV62569. Unfortunately, at Webench I cannot click on the EMI filter button.

I understand your concern, unfortunately it appears that the feature is not available in webench for this device.

The EMI Filter Design reference guide can be used to design the filter.

I did research on EMI filter last week. I had already studied the document you uploaded. I also came across the RC snubber circuit. This is often placed on the SW pin of the buck or boost converter. It is not yet clear to me whether an input filter is sufficient for the Radiated EMI, or whether I should use an input filter and an RC snubber circuit? The RC snubber circuit then applies to the Radiated EMI.

Do you also have a document for the EN5022 EMI standard for the EMI radiated noise level. I came across for the conducted EMI. This the application note for the conducted EMI noise level http://www.ti.com/lit/wp/slyy136/slyy136.pdf .

Good that you already read the document. An RC Snubber circuit can ofcourse be added on top of a input filter, however this decision has to be made depending on your application. There are ofcourse pros and cons of having the snubber circuit, for example it can help you decrease the rise and fall time of voltage across SW node, but it ends up adding losses in your circuit and thus decreases efficiency. 

For EN5022 EMI standard I am sorry but this is not something TI can provide you.
