TPS65313-Q1: Is TPS65313 the best device to meet our needs and, if so, do you have a reference design available?

Hello,

We have a project for a industrial application in which we receive a 24VDC rail and we need to make:

16VDC/ 2A
5VDC/ 50mA
3.3VDC/ 750mA
1.8VDC/ 800mA

We will use a standard buck converter for the 16VDC (unless you have a more integrated suggestion).

Right now we have separate converters for the other supplies, but it seems a PMIC would be a better option. This part seemed to be a good match- is there another that you might suggest?

We'd also like to have an EVM/Reference Design, etc. for this unit, but can't seem to find one on the website.

Is there one available or, if not, how are TI customers evaluating this device?

Hello,

If you using external DC-DC for converting 24V to 16V and providing 16V as input to TPS65313-Q1 PMIC, then this PMIC should work for your application. This device is mainly developed for Automotive safety application and E2E support to this device is limited as of now. Hi Murthy,

Thanks again for your help last night. Have you been able to ascertain if the marketing group is going to sell and support this device publicly? If not, is there another you can recommend?

I would like to get a solution in place in the next day or two if at all possible.

Hi Cody,

TPS65313-Q1 would be difficult to support as it requires new part number release for your configuration and your timeline will not match. Do you need safety and automotive grade device or any PMIC will do? Below is one possible PMIC. Or have you thought of using 24V -> 5V DC-DC and then use dual BUCK in one package to generate 3.3V and 1.8V?
