Hi,

tps50601-sp simulation model is encrypted for PSPice simulator. We are using a different simulator and are wondering if you could provide an unencrypted version of the simulation model. We are considering the use of this POL for a new design but we first need to run extensive simulations before being able to incorporate it in this new design. We are willing to sign an NDA if this is required.

Hi,

Is there a reason you are using the TPS50601-SP instead of the TPS50601A-SP. The A version has unencrypted models available in the product folder at ti.com. The differences between the two versions is summarized in this app note:

Hi Christian,

Thanks for the prompt reply. We initially selected TPS50601-SP as it is listed on European Space Agency Preferred Parts List (EPPL) while TPS50601A-SP is not. In any case, I have checked the improved characteristics of the later and it is also a good option. We will start checking if the non-encripted model works with out simulator and come back to you if we have further questions.
