BQ24130: Charging current will ramp up during charging period

My customer designed BQ24130 for supercap application but they measured the charging current will jump during charging process.

See below B area the charging current is higher 18mA compared to A area.

Ch1: 5Vbus

Ch2: Vbus current

Ch3: supercap voltage

Ch4: charge current

Please advise.

Can the customer provide a schematic? I need to see how the charger is setup.
