BQ24100: Regarding bq2410

Hi Jo,

Where did you find bq2410DQCR and bq2410DQCT for Part Number BQ24100?  

When I search bq2410 on mouser i found this two variant but I didnt seen any bq24100 bq24103 bq24104 on there here when I tried to post my doubt I have tried to tag part number so just randomly selected bq24100

A couple of good Li-Ion battery chargers to look at are the BQ24040(QFN package)  and BQ24090 (MSOP package).  Both are linear charger similar to the BQ24100 but newer devices. 

 "My inputs are 6V,60mA . What will be the maximum current that can produce i need atleast 3.7V at output." -- 6V input will work.  The typical mid voltage for a Li-Ion cell is often listed as 3.7V while the full voltage range is 4.0V to 4.2V.

Also the BQ2404X and BQ2409X are families of devices and have additional options that by better meet your needs.

Can I use these variants bq24040 or bq24090 for solar cell charging ?

Solar cell output will be maximum of 7v,100mA

Take a look at BQ24041 it has a higher OVP voltage setting, 7.1V.

Also the BQ24210 has options for operating with solar cells, OVP may be a problem.

I have a doubt over the bq24041 , bq24210 is these device provide constant output even if we varying output from solar cell that means according to sun light it may be produce sometime varying current and voltage right?

Yes -- the devise will reduce charge current to prevent input voltage from dropping.  For linear regulator the options are limited.

I think the switching regulators will also reduce output current to prevent input voltage from dropping.
