Dears,
currently I am using a BQ24072T to charge the Li-Ion battery of my system via USB. To supply the internals of my system I placed a 3.3V LDO behind the BQ24072T. With this I can achieve to limit the power supply voltage to 3.3V, but while battery voltage is getting lower the output voltage will fall below 3.3V. I could use a Buck-/Boost-Converter instead of the LDO to achive a stable output voltage, but this would be too expensive.
Is there any alternative component which combines the features of the BQ24072T and of a Buck-/Boost-Converter in one IC?
