DCR010505: DCR010505U is connected with DCV010515DP-U for Synchronization

Hello team,

I would like to synchronize DCR010505U and DCV010515DP-U frequency to avoid noise. I have 2 questions about DCR010505U and DCV010515DP-U. Would you please advise?

1) Is it possible to synchronize DCR010505U and DCV010515DP-U frequency when DCR010505U(28pin) is connected with DCV010515DP-U(14pin) ?

2) Does the DCR010505U SYNC pin serve as both an input and an output?　How does DCR010505U control the input and output?

Hello Akihisa,

Yes; it is possible to synchronize both devices as described.
The SYNC pin (18) in DCR01 is a synchronized input, but can function as an output when the SYNC pin of both devices are connected together (self-synchronization), thus locking the oscillators of both devices to a single frequency.

Below I've attached an App Report in which describes the SYNC circuit.
