UCC2894: Calculation of programming resistors.

Dear team,

As per the datasheet two formulas are fiven for the calculation of Ron, Roff and Rdel, One in page 8 and another in page 19. Both are giving different values.

    Hello Junia,

    The equations in page 8 are the correct equations to use

    The equation in page 19 of the Applications section of the data sheet are an approximation that ignore the Tdel time.
    It is possible to do this because the delay time is small compared to the Ton and Toff switch times.
    However for accuracy you should use the above equations from page 8.
