Hi Team,

In the datasheet of TPS25842-Q1, it shows switch off-state and on-state parameters below. customer feed back that MPQ4482 has much lower capacitance than TI part, do you know why TPS25842-Q1 has larger vaule? what it affects?

Hi Yang,

The data switch is 30V FET inside(support Short to battery) , the Rds(on) and Capacitance need to balance to achieved a high bandwidth and good signal integrity .

The device show good eye diagram performance in the EVM. If just focus on the capacitance value is no meaningful. It need to balance a lot of thing here.
