LM2672: Certification issue on LM2672MX-5.0/NOPB

Hi Ti,

We are using your IC LM2672MX-5.0/NOPB in our products.

Now we want to know whether this IC LM2672MX-5.0/NOPB was certified by the safety standard IEC 62368-1:2014 or not? If no, is it passed other safety standards?

Could you check your record to tell me the query above?

As I know, it don't have ceritfied by the safety standard, and for dcdc converter, It more depend on how your use the chip in the system, and need the system meet the IEC 62368-1:2014 safety standard.

On the other words, did you test the IC according to following requirements which is derived from G.9 clause of IEC 62368-1:2014?

If no, could you perform these tests to the IC? Thanks again!

I check the G.9 Integrated circuit (IC) current limiters, if you used it as a 5V output source , it will limit the current below 2.2A , which meet less than 5A requirment.

these test is performed when silicon in developing with EVM board's setup ,but the component value is not exactly same as your described.

By the way, what is the abbreviation EVM? Could you provide free evaluated board of this IC?
