TLV62585: setting a minimum Vin by EN pin

Hello everyone,

I'm developing a li-ion battery circuit using TLV62585 and I want to define a minimum input voltage of 3.2V, because in the battery data sheet the minimum voltage is 2.7V and the UVLO of TLV62585 is 2.45V (max). Is it possible to set a minimum Vin of 3.2V using a voltage divider on the EN pin? If so, can the bias current change the divider voltage?

Hi Daniel,

The EN pin cannot be used as a VIN sensing to turn-on or turnoff the device due to its wide tolerance of the high-level and low-level input voltage. It would be better if you have an external circuit (comparator) for precise sensing of the input voltage and tie it up to EN pin of the device.
