Hello,
It looks like the gauge is not communicating at all with the EV2400 from the interface, make sure to follow the steps in the user guide very carefully: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sluubz5/sluubz5.pdf?ts=1594217336910&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Ftool%252FBQ40Z80EVM-020
If there is still a problem, try to update bqStudio to the test version and update the firmware for the BQ40Z80. bqStudio should auto detect your EVM when you plug it in.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Keller
Hi Andy Liu,
Thank you very much for your reply. As we are using a 6S configuration for the Battery pack the default software settings won't be a problem.
Kindly go through the schematic attached below for the 6S configuration, and do let me know about Design flaws(if any).
Thanks & Regards

Hello,
Looking at your schematic, are you connecting a common ground for the SMBus communication? I see the INT GPIO is connected next to the communication lines on the same connector.
Did pressing temporarily connecting BAT+ and PACK+ (the wake button function) help with communication?
Sincerely,
Wyatt Keller
