TPS62746: Efficiency

Hello,

I'm looking through a few options for a step-down converter (3.6V to 1.2V) and I'm a bit puzzled by the datasheet graphs for the TPS62746. This converter seems to be designed specifically to give 1.2 or 1.8V outputs, yet efficiency curves are shown for various voltages from 0.8V to 3.3V. These curves also refer to the wrong part number (they say TPS62743) so it looks like these are copied from anther datasheet and haven't been replaced with the correct data.

Is the correct efficiency data available for this part, for 1.2V and 1.8V outputs?

Hi Gordon,

The efficiency plots for 1.2V and 1.8V in the datasheet of TPS62746 are correct and it was only a typo.

TPS62746 is a spin of TPS62743 with only two programmable output voltages of 1.2V and 1.8V and with a VINSW feature. The rest of the functionalities remain the same. If you would like to have more flexibility on Vout, you can use TPS62743 (without VINSW feature).
