TPS61043: Operation mode

In the datasheet shows the Bust (boost?) mode operation waveform. How do we use this operation at TPS61043 (or TPS61042)?

We'd like to constant LED current.

- Connect to TP1410: typ.1.5V (changing by feed back circuit)
- 4 LED: Not white LED, typ.1.6V Vf / 1 LED
- CTRL: connect to 3.0V_REG
- LED current: about 3 - 40 mA (typ. about 15mA)

- R2 = 58kohm (43k+15kohm)

- R1 = 5.1kohm

- RS = 6.8ohm

Hi KoT,

Bust mode operation is one of light load operation modes, and this mode is active when device detect the load is light. So it's impossible to configure it manually.

Hi Kot-san,

There is no typical value of light load for customer since it depends on internal EA output comparison threshold.
