LM36923H:

Part Number: LM36923H

Hello e2e team,

Currently we are looking for a backlight LED driver with following requirement:

Brightness control: PWm/I2C

In day mode, operating voltage and current are typically 28.5V and 50mA. In night mode, these are 26.5V and 5mA respectively.

We are planning to consider LM36923H driver.

To meet 50mA of sinking current requirement, can we short LED1 and LED2 pins together and set the driver current for 25mA each. Do you see any issue with this configuration.

Similarly to meet 5mA minimum current requirement, we will set driver current of 2.5mA each channel.

Also, we are planning to use 5V as  input voltage to LM36923H. In that case digital control signals - PWM, SCK, SDA, HWEN coming from controller which is running on 3.3V, does require any logic level shifting?

Thanks & Regards,

Rajesh Kumar
