UCC3817: Can be reached to input frequency up to 440 Hz for UCC3817?

Hi E2E

A new project for industrial application with 300W output.

1. AC line input frequency from 40Hz to 440Hz.
2. AC line input voltage from 90Vac to 265Vac.
3. PF need 0.98 at 230Vac/440Hz

Therefore, I need to have this kind of PFC controller to fulfill customer requirements.

 

Can UCC381 can reach this design or another IC?

    Hello Rock Shao.

    The UCC3817 is very similar to the UCC3854 and it can be used to provide power factor correction from 40Hz to 440Hz.
    You will need to design your application for the required input voltage range and your power factor will depend on how good your design isA power factor of 0.98 is achievable.
