Hi Timothy,

I have a question regarding the TPS1HB16AQPWPRQ1 chip. Would tying the Enable and Latch pins together and toggling them simultaneously allow us to clear the fault? Or do we need to power cycle the circuit to clear the fault?

I saw your reply to the related post, but it does not specifically address whether toggling EN & LATCH pins (high to low to high) through MCU would clear the fault state, if the fault condition is removed before EN & LATCH is toggled back high.

Hello Alan,

You are able to simultaneously toggle the FAULT and EN lines to clear the fault. Do keep in mind that once the fault is cleared though the device's output will follow the behavior of the EN line so if the time between toggling is too long you could see the EN/VOUT line lower than what you are expecting.
