LM5060: UVLO & Schematic review

1. Have used tool to do calculations, and later got a set value table,
Because the lowest voltage actually measured at present cannot be turned on at 8.4V,
It is a bit different from the cognitive Lower UVLO = 7.59V.
Therefore, I would like to ask which value should I look at for overvoltage and undervoltage protection? Upper or Lower?

2.Does Typical Over-Current Threshold mean the OCP threshold at the lowest voltage?

3.Please kindly help us to check the schematic , LM5060 & LM25119

Thanks for reaching out!

The OCP accuracy of LM5060 depends on the Rds_on varaiation of external FET. Please refer https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/657559 for more details. I suggest to use LM5069 if you need precised overload protection and short circuit protection.

If you wish to continue with LM5060, please send me filled up design sheet for review.

Please kindly post separate thread for LM25119 as it belong to different product line.

Hi Gareth,

1. which value should I look at for overvoltage and undervoltage protection? Upper or Lower?

1A) The typical values should be used as reference. However, considering batch-to-batch variation, the threshold can change any where between min and max values as the design sheet

2.Does Typical Over-Current Threshold mean the OCP threshold at the lowest voltage?

2A) Typical value corresponds to room temperature and typical values of all the parameters in the current limit equation

3.Please kindly help us to check the schematic , LM5060
