BQ25070: Iout is always 990mA

Part Number: BQ25070

Hi Team,

According to the "BATTERY CHARGER FAST-CHARGE" on page 3, the input current in controlled by CTRL. Is the output current the same in all cases(4 pulses to 11 pulses)? When setting the CTRL pulse, the test output current is 990mA. Without setting the CTRL, the output current is also very large.

In this way, set 5 pulses of CTRL, so the theoretical input current is 187mA. The input is 5V. And then the measured output is 3.7V/990mA. In this way, the power is not correct. The output power is larger than the input. When the battery voltage reaches 3.7V, it gradually decreases.

Beat Regards,
Tom Liu
