SM72442: IC is not entering MPPT mode

Part Number: SM72442

Hello all, I gave a confusing scenario with SM72442

I have manually given the Input voltage, input current, output voltage, and output current to the SM72442 IC inputs using voltage dividers.

Each divider voltage can be changed from 0 -5 VDC. I have tried different combinations of voltage in each input pin of the IC, but the IC produces the same output waveform, as if not entering MPPT mode.

I feed a voltage using a resistor divider to the output current sensing pin of the MPPT controller to create an effect of high load at the output to meet the condition found on the datasheet “ I_out>=I_th”. This was found from the MPPT flow chart details. But the IC was still producing the same gate pulses.

In this way, all the 4 feedback parameters ( I/P V, I/P C, O/P V and O/P C ) were manually tuned at different points to force the MPPT controller into MPPT mode, but no response found from
the IC.

Anything I am missing?

thanks
