LM25101: Constant Current Source

Part Number: LM25101

Ias there an App Note for using the LM25101 for a constant current source?  I'm looking for any type of equation that relates the PWM on LI and HI to the current through the inductor and load.

    To realize a current source there needs to be a power topology and controller IC within the overall solution. The LM25101 half bridge driver will provide the MOSFET gate drive function but not the complete functionality to realize a current source.

    Can you provide a schematic of the power stage you are considering?

    Thank you for your quick response.    I was just hoping there was an Application Note that had an example of calculating the output power based on the PWM frequency.   If you know of an example that would be great.  I have all the variables in SW and can make the calculation.   I just wanted an example to double-check. my work.

    The relationship of PWM to output power will depend on the power train topology most importantly and other factors as well. I would determine the power train you plan to use in your application and a controller that is suited for that topology and see if there are app notes or other collateral to address your questions. Or if not, post another thread based on the controller part number that can work for you. The controller experts would be able to point you to the best reference material.
