TPS92610-Q1: TPS92610-Q1: PWM Pin Bias Question

Part Number: TPS92610-Q1

Is it necessary to bias the PWM pin at any level if just using it to turn on the LEDs for a short period (1% duty cycle) using a microcontroller. I need to minimize total current draw in my application.

  • Sorry, i don't fully understand what the meaning of "bias the PWM pin at any level ", could you explain it more detail.

If the PWM pin voltage is higher than its thershold, the output will turn on after the deglitch time. And the thershold is fixed.

For another point, our device don't care bout the duty cycle, becasue 200Hz or 200kHz frequency will have different on time in 1% duty cycle. And the minimum on period based on the minimum on time and off time is the device's limition whether our device can output current or not.
