Here is Kevin from Delta Taiwan team.

Just want to double check with you.

Base on the below spec., when IC internal die temperature higher than 165dC, the IC will shut down, right?

    Hello Kevin,

    This is a typical specification, 50% of the devices will turnoff before that limit and 50% devices will turnoff after that limit.

    The data sheet does not give a minimum limit but does specify the device can run with a recommended junction teampature of 125 and a maximum of 150 C.

    The device can operate with a maximum 150 C and has a typical thermal shutdown of 165C.  The thermal shutdowns typical range would be roughly +/- 15 degrees as an estimation based on these limits.

    The UCC28711 has an NTC function if you need a more accurate device thermal shutdown.  To be sa
