Hi Sir,

       Would you pls help review schematic for bq24078?

       And pls help to check if Iset and ILIM resistors need to modify.

       Vin=0.9A @5V; battery capacity: 880mA, charge done:2~3hrs.

    Hi Ian,

    Here's what I could find on the schematic

    • ISET resistor is 1.13kOhm. Fast Charge current is set to about 787 mA (890/1130)
    • SYSOFF is pulled to GND
    • (EN2 , EN1) = (1, 0). Input current limit is programmed
    • /CE is pulled to EN_CHG for charge control
    • All power pins have at least the recommended capacitance
    • ILIM resistor is 1.18kOhm. Input current limit is set to about 1.364 A (1610/1180)
    • TS is configured with a 10k NTC with B = 3435k
    • TMR is connected to ground (through 0 Ohm resistor). If the desire is to not use the TMR function, it is recommended to leave the TMR unconnected and floating. 

    For a schematic, this is all fine but note the TMR pin. If safety timers aren't going to be used, leave the pin floating.
