LM5034: Consideration for operating LM5034 for single channel forward conversion

Hi,

We are using LM5034 to convert 28V to 3.3V.

Single channel  is configured to get the output by pulling SS  and CS pin to ground in other channel.

But we didn't get the output in that single channel.

Converter is operating in hiccup mode.

Any other connections to be considered for operating LM5034 in single channel single output configuration.

    I believe grounding the SS1 is the correct thing to do and this holds COMP1 LOW which forces OUT1 LOW. The LM5034 data sheet recommends a buffer from SS1 to GND as shown below:

    Holding CS1 LOW should be ok but maybe try releasing it - maybe add a small amount of slope compensation (<0.5 V peak) and check the difference in start-up behavior?
