I would like to ask you about the TPS6590378 device.
(question 1)
Is the SMPS soft start time for this device fixed?
Or is it possible to change it by register setting etc.?
(Question 2)
What is the SMPS operating mode for this device?
Current mode or voltage mode, etc.
(Question 3)
Is the SMPS phase compensation for this device internal compensation?
Or is it possible to change it by register setting or external constant?

Hi,

TPS659037 is voltage mode, with internal compensation. There are no register settings to affect compensation. The SMPS slew rate is typically 2.5mV/us (in spec table of datasheet).

I would like to ask you again about the soft start.
The Slew Rate shows the rate of change during DVS, and the soft start time is probably Tramp, isn't it?

Hi,

Yes, the ramp time is how long it will take to get to 80% of the output voltage when the device starts up. it is typically 400us, with a max of 1000us.
