A board with MCU and FPGA, this voltage regulator provide the main 3.3V board supply from an input 5V supply.
Now I have to use the same board in an application in which the input supply is 3.3V, I would keep all the PCB design, changing only the BOM (in case), so in this condition: Vin= 3.3V input , Vout= 3.24 V, ( Rfbt=100K; Rfbb = 33K), max current absorption = 1A.
My question is : could this component working fine in this very low drop ? the internal switching could work at 99% of duty cycle ?
I tried the real condition configuration succesfully (Vout match 3.24V). After I also tried that overloading to 2A and the output voltage just drop a little (Vout = 3.15V).
It is reliable the functionalities in our real condition ?
