TPS61232: TPS61232 Output voltage is not 5v

Hello,

I'm using TPS61232 to get fixed 5v.

I'm using exactly same circuit in datasheet except PG. I left PG floating.

My input is 3.8v and 310mA.

I expected to have 5v but I'm getting just 3.5v.

I'm measuring Vout directly.

Should I put load? (I hardly doubt)

Same thing happens when I use 3.8V Li-Po battery.

Actually it is worse. Output is 2.9v.

+) Using Li-Po battery, my maximum output is 3.8v

Hi Jo,

1. Is the result the same with multiple boards and devices? Could you replicate on other boards?

2. Did you follow the recommended layout guideline? You can share the layout on E2E.
