Hello Team,

Please refer below for the query we have from one of our customer. Can you please help with the same:

"There is a need for multi channel FAN controller and I am wondering if UCD90320 can be used for it as it has got 24 PWM outputs, which can be used to control speeds but tacho read is also to be supported. Can you suggest me to use UCD for this purpose and also send me the application notes/any documents if already available for use of UCD as FAN controller?"

    Hi

    UCD90320 does have 24 PWM but it does not support tacho so it does not support FAN control. But we do have other devices support FAN control: UCD90124A(4-fan controller) and UCD90910(10-fan controller).

    The datasheet has section about fan control application.
