Hi Team,


I received the below questions from a customer using our UCC2894 and faced some issues from the field. Can you help answer their below questions?

  1. Any internal OTP embedded in the controller? Which may cause a controller shutdown or no pulse.
  2. Other condition that may cause a no pulse to controller like pulse skipping during light load and transient?
  3. Any PCN in done to this controller which may affect the pulse skipping feature?
  4. Do you have proposed direct equivalent with higher temperature rating?

    Hi,

      1. [Hong Huang] pulse skipping occurs when FB voltage is low (about 1.25V), refer to page 10 of the datasheet
    3. Any PCN in done to this controller which may affect the pulse skipping feature?
      1. [Hong Huang] No, there is no PCN on this feature
    4. Do you have proposed direct equivalent with higher temperature rating?
