LMR33630: LMR33630 work as invert DC/DC

Hi team,

Our customer need an invert DC/DC(12V to -12V@1A), when I simulated in WEBENCH, and got an design as below:

the question is: why need to add an small diode(D1) at the output?

The diode is DB2S31600L, and it`s an only 100mA diode, do we must need to add this diode?

Hi Sunny,

The diode is not required, but can be helpful to keep the output voltage from rising during start-up.
