BQ25700A: BQ25700A VDDA PIN curve

Part Number: BQ25700A

HI Team,

My customer has a quick question about Figure 42 and Figure 43.

Why does the VDDA have a step in Figure 43?

  • Hi Hollis,

When IC is powered by 5V (in the second case), VDD voltage is clamped by adapter voltage, until VSYS is brought up. The step is caused by source switch to VSYS.

This is not the case when adapter is >6V, or 20V in the first case, where VDD is always "fully" on.

    Best Regard,

    Linhong
